Assistant Pastor Sean Beck

Pastor Sean is originally from Long Island, New York. He found his faith in Christ at 24 and, shortly after, joined the United States Army on active duty, serving in Missouri and South Korea. During a holiday visit home in 2021, God blessed him with the most wonderful Christmas gift—his wife, Courtney. They married on August 14, 2022. Sean began his Master of Divinity in Military Chaplaincy online, but felt God guiding him to study in person at Liberty University. In April 2023, Sean and Courtney moved to Lynchburg, where Sean became a Chaplain Candidate and received his commission into the U.S. Army Reserve. Since fall 2024, he has also served as Pastor Steve Keith’s Graduate Student Assistant. As of February 2026, Sean is proudly an ordained minister of Jesus Christ. He and Courtney are overjoyed to cherish and nurture their one-year-old son, Timothy.
